A section of Jeju Northern area book Walk will be marked with the familiar oak sign posts as seen along the Cotswold Wayinviting visitors to the island to come walking in England. You will stay in the world-renowned village of Broadway and creep through the sleepy village of Stanton and enjoy the farm animals of sheep and cows through a pastoral countryside scene. To extend your walk just head a mile or so north of Ebrington and you could visit the splendid Hidcote Manor Garden. The walk begins at the Crickley Hill car park and follows footpaths to Shurdington Hill, passing the site of an ancient Roman Villa, before returning to the car park via Dryhill farm.

The route starts passing through the parks and woodlands around Bristol before entering the open countryside of Gloucestershire. The Monarch's Way and the Macmillan Way Northern area book run past the park so you could pick up these trails to continue your walking in the area. The walk begins at the Crickley Hill car park and follows footpaths to Shurdington Hill, passing the site of an ancient Roman Villa, before returning to the car park via Dryhill farm. This is a fairly challenging route but with some fabulous Cotswolds scenery to enjoy. Views, history, peace and rest all combine to make this simple little stroll a wonderful taster of the southern Cotswolds. Even the few hillside climbs are rewarded by compass-wide views that spread out all around you back into the heart of the Cotswolds and across the Severn Estuary into Wales

Broadway and the Tower This enchanting walk leads you through the picturesque Cotswold high street of Broadway, along historic tracks and up to the intriguing Broadway Tower with its spectacular views across the Severn Vale into Wales. It's a great one to try if you are staying in either of these villages as it uses well maintained waymarked footpaths to take you to such highlights as Broadway Tower Country Park and Dover's Hill. This long distance waymarked walk around Cheltenham gives wonderful views of the Cotswolds escarpment. The first section of the walk takes you from Chipping Warden to Upper Wardington.

Overnight at Winchcombe, Gloucestershire, England.
